August 19 - DSAM Morning Mingle
9:30 - 11:30 am at the DSAM Office - Come by the office and enjoy coffee, juice and refreshments. Meet the DSAM staff and other parents, ask questions or share concerns. No need to RSVP, just stop by!
August 25 - New Parent Brunch

The New Parent Brunch is for parents or caregivers of babies 18 months or younger with Down syndrome. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other new parents. There are gifts for parents and babies! Please RSVP by contacting the DSAM office at 901-547-7588 or admin@dsamemphis.org.
September 11 - 6th Annual North MS Down Syndrome Awareness Picnic
11 am - 2 pm at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ, 1700 Goodman Road East, Southaven
Come out and enjoy a fun day filled with free food, moon bounces, music, cool treats, fire truck and appearances by local mascots. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and the speaking presentation begins at 12:30 p.m. Proclamations will be presented by the Desoto County mayors declaring October as “Down Syndrome Awareness Month”.
