each school district to appoint Down syndrome specialists.

Opportunity - Looking for children with Down syndrome ages
10 - 17 years of age.
The Regional Intervention Program
has launched a new program to assist parents in dealing with
behavior issues. Families of children younger than six
years old can attend two – two hour sessions a week over six
to eight month to learn parenting techniques. The program
is free and adults repay RIP by volunteering to train and
